Mindfulness
The past has already happened and the future is yet to be here, but many times we spend a lot of our energy focused on those states, instead of being present. Many times we get so caught up in what has happened in the past (how people have wronged us, situations that occurred, experiences we have had, etc.) or preoccupied with the future (planning, predicting what might happen, hoping, etc.) that we forget how to remain in the here and now. Not living in the present moment creates both anxiety and stress for us; sometimes that anxiety and stress can become too overwhelming for us to battle with alone.

During our mindfulness sessions, we work together to incorporate the following to your treatment plan:
-
journaling
-
aromatherapy
-
meditation
-
deep breathing (pranayama)
-
daily routines
